Churchill Fellowship

In June 2004, the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust announced the categories for the 2005 travelling Fellowships. For the first time in 30 years, they included a category for Photographers and Documentary Film-makers in the list.

I applied, online through the Trust’s website and after submitting further supporting information during the autumn months, was interviewed in London in January, 2005.

I was awarded a fellowship to travel to North America, Canada and Australia to study Recording Change Through Retake Photography. During the trip I ran a blog (be warned, it's lengthy!) which can be viewed here.
